Our commitment
We believe the web should be accessible to everyone. We work to make dominiribelli.it usable and understandable by as many people as possible, regardless of technical ability, the device used or any visual, motor, hearing or cognitive disability.
Available accessibility tools
On every page, at the bottom left, there is a dedicated accessibility button that opens a panel with options you can turn on yourself:
- Larger text — increases the text size for easier reading.
- High contrast — intensifies the contrast between text and background.
- Underline links — highlights all links with an underline, making them easier to recognise.
- Reduce motion — disables animations and motion effects, useful for motion sensitivity.
Your chosen preferences are remembered as you browse and on future visits. The Reset button returns all settings to their defaults.
Technical measures adopted
In designing and developing the site we adopt a number of accessibility-oriented measures:
- semantic page structure with consistent headings and hierarchy;
- alternative text on informative images;
- keyboard-operable navigation and a logical reading order;
- respect for the system preference to reduce motion (prefers-reduced-motion);
- colour contrasts designed for good legibility;
- a responsive site, suited to screens of any size.
Conformance level
We take the WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) level AA as our reference. While we work continuously to improve, some sections may not yet be fully conformant: this is ongoing work, and every report helps us improve.
Feedback and contact
If you have difficulty using the site or want to report an accessibility issue, please get in touch: we are committed to responding and taking action as quickly as possible.
