Costs & timelines

How much does a website cost?

It depends on goals, content and features: a small brochure site and an e-commerce store with hundreds of products are very different jobs, so every project is unique. After a first conversation to understand what you actually need, we prepare a detailed quote, itemised line by line, free and with no obligation, within 24 hours. So you know exactly what you're paying for and why.

How long does it take?

A well-built brochure site usually takes a few weeks; an e-commerce store or a bespoke project takes longer: much depends on complexity and how quickly we can gather text, photos and materials. We define realistic timelines together in the quote, put them in writing and, once set, we stick to them. If you have a firm deadline, tell us up front and we'll organise the work around it.

Are there hidden costs or surprise extras?

No. What we agree in the quote is what you pay. Every item is detailed in advance and, if something extra becomes necessary during the project, we propose it and agree it before proceeding. No surprises on the invoice once the work has started.

How do payments work?

We agree timing and terms together in the quote, transparently. Usually we proceed in phases, so payments follow the progress of the work too. You know amounts and deadlines in advance, with no unclear ties.

Is the first meeting binding or paid?

No: the first meeting is free and with no obligation. You tell us about your business and goals, and we reply within 24 hours with an analysis and a concrete proposal. Only if you decide to proceed do we discuss quotes and timelines.

How we work

Do you only work in Italy?

Our base is Bassano del Grappa, in the Veneto region of Italy, but we work with clients across Europe and worldwide. As an international team we work seamlessly in several languages and across time zones, remotely with calls and online reviews, or on site where it makes sense. Distance is never the issue: what matters is that you always have one direct point of contact.

Will I have one point of contact or be passed between departments?

One point of contact: a dedicated team follows you from idea to launch, with one person as your contact who knows your project by heart. No call centre, no bouncing between departments or suppliers. You always talk to whoever actually builds your site.

What do you need from me to get started?

Less than you might think: a clear idea of what you want to achieve and some information about your business. Text, photos and materials we can gather together and, if you don't have them, we handle them ourselves — from copywriting to photography and video, all produced in-house. The first step is simply to write or call us.

Can I follow the progress of the project?

Yes: our method is designed to keep you updated throughout. You approve the key steps — structure, design, content — before we move on, so there are no surprises and the site truly reflects what you had in mind.

What's the difference between you and template-based sites?

A site built on a bought template starts from a base identical to thousands of others and gets "filled in": quick to put online, but often slow and hard to grow. We start from a blank page, designing layout and structure around your goals and your sector. The result is a faster, more polished site, better optimised for Google and built to last.

Tech & SEO

Will the website really be mine?

Yes, always and fully: domain, hosting, code and access credentials are registered in your name, not ours. We don't use closed proprietary platforms or mandatory fees to "rent" your own site. If one day you want to switch provider or manage it in-house, you take everything with you, with no lock-in.

Do you handle SEO and Google ranking?

Yes, and not as an add-on: every site is built SEO-ready from the foundations — speed, technical structure, content designed to be found. From there we can handle local SEO, Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, social media and content strategy. The goal isn't just traffic, but turning it into enquiries and customers. To learn more, read our local SEO guide.

Will the site be fast and mobile-optimised?

Yes: we design mobile-first, so the site is smooth and immediate on smartphone, tablet and desktop. Speed and mobile optimisation are also Google ranking factors, as well as experience factors for your visitors. We look after Core Web Vitals, the metrics Google uses to measure page quality.

Do you also build e-commerce and online stores?

Yes: complete e-commerce stores, from a curated shop with a few products to large catalogues with hundreds of items, with online payments, shipping and order management. We give you a simple dashboard to update everything yourself, and we design them to actually sell from day one, including on mobile.

Do you build multilingual sites for international markets?

Yes, and it's one of our specialities: we're an international team and build sites in several languages — Italian, English, German and more — with the correct technical structure so each version ranks well on its market. Ideal for exporters, hospitality and anyone working with foreign clients. We don't just translate: we adapt content and tone.

Will the site be secure?

Yes: every site includes an SSL certificate (https), protections on forms and payments, and up-to-date security settings. With care plans we add regular backups, monitoring and constant updates, to keep the site protected over time.

If we redesign the site, do we lose our Google rankings?

Not necessarily, but it is the most concrete risk of a redesign. The value a site has built up is attached to the address of every single page: if those addresses change without a 301 redirect taking each one to the new page that replaces it, that value is lost and traffic falls in the fortnight after launch. Before starting we record the current pages, searches and links, and we prepare the redirect map alongside the project rather than after it.

Is WooCommerce really free?

The plugin is: no licence fee and no percentage on sales. What you pay for is everything around it — adequate hosting, the theme, the extensions for shipping and invoicing, the maintenance. The final bill is not zero, but the cost structure differs from a subscription platform: you pay for tools and work instead of a share of turnover, and above a certain sales volume that difference tells.

AI & innovation

What is GEO and why does it concern me?

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is optimisation for generative search engines like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity. More and more people search via AI assistants: getting them to cite your site in their answers is the new frontier of visibility. We optimise every site in this direction too, with clear, structured content. You'll find the terms explained in our web, SEO and AI glossary.

Do you integrate AI assistants or chatbots into sites?

Yes: we can integrate conversational assistants and chatbots that answer visitors in natural language, day and night, guiding them and collecting requests. We design them bespoke for your business, so they ease the workload without replacing human contact when needed.

Do you build automation for my business?

Yes: automation for repetitive tasks like handling requests, bookings, catalogue updates or sorting emails. Applied well it saves time and reduces errors, leaving you and your team the work that really matters.

After launch

What happens after the site goes live?

Launch is the beginning, not the end. We offer care plans with technical updates, regular backups, security monitoring and small content changes, so the site stays fast, protected and current over time. And when you want to grow it, the people who built it are still here and know the project by heart.

Can I update the content myself?

Yes: where it makes sense, we give you a simple dashboard to update text, photos, products and prices yourself, without calling us every time. We show you how to use it and stay available for the more technical work.

What if I want to expand the site later?

No problem: the site is built to grow. A new section, an extra feature, an e-commerce added to a brochure site, a campaign: whoever built the project is still here and can work on it without starting from scratch.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes: maintenance plans with updates, backups, security and priority support for a fixed, transparent annual fee. So the site stays fast and protected over time, and you have someone to turn to when needed.
