Food catalogue with different needs between consumers and restaurants
↓ Result+48% online orders in the first year, dual B2C and B2B channel

A food catalogue with different needs for private customers and restaurateurs, and no shop that was simple to use and to manage for both.
A WooCommerce e-commerce with an organised catalogue, a free-shipping threshold, a dedicated area for retailers and editorial recipe content: dual B2C and B2B channel, +48% orders in year one.
The starting point.
BDG Cooking sells a catalogue of food products online with different needs between private customers and resellers: it needed a shop that was simple to use and to manage.
In food online the decision is quick: whoever is looking for a product compares price, availability and shipping within seconds. And here there were two audiences, with opposite logics — the private customer buying a single pack, the restaurateur ordering by weight and on a regular basis. Before writing a line of code we mapped both buying journeys, because serving one of them badly would have meant losing it.
What we built.
We developed the WooCommerce e-commerce with an organised catalogue, a free-shipping threshold, a section dedicated to retailers and editorial content for recipes.
The free-shipping threshold pushes the private customer's basket upwards; the dedicated area for retailers gives the HoReCa channel what it needs — reserved terms and fast reordering. The recipe content is not decoration: it brings traffic from people looking for how to use a product and walks them through to the purchase. One shop, two ways of buying, without either getting in the other's way.
How we work.
Every project starts from a concrete analysis of goals, audience and competitors: no off-the-shelf templates, but choices designed to deliver results.
Catalogue, product pages and price lists were organised together with the client, who knows the products better than anyone: we translated that knowledge into a navigable structure. Design, development, copy and go-live were handled by a single team, with shared reviews at every step. After launch the e-commerce did not stand still: the seasonality of food calls for constant adjustments, and we make them.
Why choose us.
A single point of contact for the whole project: no runaround between suppliers, quick answers and someone who knows your work.
A food catalogue changes often — products come in, others go out, promotions tied to the season. That is why BDG Cooking manages the shop independently, without having to call us for every change. Domain, code and credentials remain in the company's name, with no strings: if one day it wants to change supplier, it takes everything with it. And when a hand is needed, the person who answers knows the project.
The next one could be yours.
