01 — The client

A campsite that lives two seasons.

In Selva di Cadore, at 1,580 metres at the foot of Mount Pelmo, Camping Cadore welcomes tents, campers and accommodation guests all year round: the summer season of Dolomite trails and the winter season of snow, with the Civetta ski area close by.

The website is the centre of everything: bookings through a booking engine, seasonal offers, a live webcam, weather with forecasts and four languages for international guests. An audience arriving from half of Europe, expecting instant answers in their own language, on the phone as on the desktop. For a business like this, a site that is down for even one day means lost bookings. That is why maintenance here is not a technical detail: it is part of the service.

§
02 — The work

Evolutionary maintenance.

WordPress, plugin and code updates tested before going live, security and backups, performance checks: the routine maintenance that keeps the site fast, protected and compatible with a constantly evolving ecosystem.

We plan every intervention around the campsite's seasons: never a stoppage in peak periods, when every booking counts. Every update goes through a testing environment first: only when everything works does it reach the live site. And we watch what guests never see: loading times, disk space, certificates, logs. If something breaks, we find out before the guests do — and we fix it. And every intervention leaves a trace: we always know what was updated, when and why. The result is a site that ages well: stable today, ready for tomorrow's versions.

◆
03 — The work

New features, when they are needed.

The site grows with the business: new sections, features and integrations developed when the campsite needs them, working in harmony with the booking engine, the weather widget with forecasts, the webcam and the four languages that must always stay aligned.

Requests come from reception, from management or from the guests themselves: we turn them into concrete features, without disrupting what already works. Every new feature is born in four languages, ready for all the campsite's markets. And whether the job is small or large, timelines are clear from the start. So the site never grows old: it evolves one piece at a time, together with the business. From proposal to go-live, without the business having to deal with anything technical.

✦
04 — The method

One contact, zero worries.

A single point of contact receives the requests, plans them around the campsite's seasons and brings them online: no anonymous tickets, no runaround between suppliers, same-day answers.

And everything remains the property of the business: credentials, code and content belong to the client, documented and in order — as it should be. It is the same method we use for every maintenance job: tracked interventions, backups before every change, reports on what was done. So management always knows what is happening on its own website, without having to think about it. And when advice is needed — an offer to launch, a page to improve — we are already inside the project. A simple way of working that, after years of collaboration, keeps on working.
